TO use the gift site https://www.fbgamesgifts.com/farmville2/gifts.php you need to watch this video so that if you DO NOT have an ad blocker or ad.fly skipper, you don't hit the wrong thing to get your gift.  I use Firefox to get gifts from the site because it's much easier for me to do so.  I play on the game on Chrome.

These are the addons I have in order to play the game AND to get stuff from the gift site with minimal fuss.

The 2 circled are what you need to not have an issue with accidently downloading something OTHER than the link for the game from the gift site.

The Copy ShortURL is something I use to get shortened links  in order to share with y'all.  It is the easiest that I have found to grab links and copy them.

The Flash Video Player for Facebook makes it so I can play the game on Firefox.

The Multi Links Plus is so I can open a bunch of links all at once...makes getting gifts easier AND getting them for the game if you have 50 links sitting there you can use this to grab them all.

In Chrome, I have the ad.fly skipper and the uBlock Origin as well.  THESE two make it so you don't have the lag, a blank screen or an error code when going to the gift site for gits.  (Whether you share them or just grab for yourself, you want to have these.)

How To Share From FB Game Gifts To Your Page Or A Group

Here is a short how-to video I made on sharing from FG Game Gifts to your group or your own page.  Again, the only difference is that I now use ad.fly KILLER instead of ad.fly skipper to get rid of the 5 second wait between gifts.  Now, some would say what's the big deal about a 5 second wait time.  Well if you go in to get 100 of each item that adds up.  It's not like we have all the time in the world to sit and play the game.  The majority of us have lives that don't revolve around the game and we need to use what little time we do have to play the game, wisely.  This video shows you how to get the free items on this site. 

 If you were to pay for their VIP there is another page right next to the freebie part.  The star is filled in.  That is where you get the speed grow, super feed, gold shovel and a few other things we can't get for free.  See pic below:

How To Get Gifts From FB Game Gifts

This is a short how to video I made on how to go use the FB Game Gifts website to get your own gifts.  The only thing that has changed since I made this video is that ad.fly skipper is no longer working.  Simply go into the chrome store and get ad.fly KILLER to get rid of those pesky 5 second wait times between gifts.

Next post I will show you how to share from this gift site to a group or to your own page.  IF they ever bring back the chat window to Farmville 2 then you would also be able to use the video to share in there.  Don't hold your breath for that to come back though as it got crazy with bots and nasty fighting before they finally had enough and pulled the chat from the game.

Groups on Facebook for FV2

There are lots of groups on facebook that are geared toward helping farmville 2 players advance in the game.  Some only want those game posts for the quests and not the gifts from any game site.  Some will allow both, it just depends on the group.  The number one rule for those groups that do share from the gift site is to NEVER share the gifts outside of the group.  It takes quite a bit of time to go the gift site, gather the gifts and share with others. Go by their rules and you will have lots of help.  There was always a debate in chat, when FV2 HAD a chat, about sharing of the gifts outside of a group.  If you got the gift from a group, then keep it in group.  It was shared there for a reason.  If you want others to get the gifts, invite them to join the group.

There are plenty of gifts at this site that you do NOT need to be VIP to get.  ie:  water 5 pk, 2 pk baby bottle, 2 pk power, 20 pk energy, 5 fertilizer, 2 pk fertilizer etc.  You only need a VIP for the speed grow, super feed, gold shovels and a few other items.  If you can't afford to get the VIP and you don't want to join a group, try these two sites:

Did you know that sometimes Zynga will make it where there is an autobuild for the new quest?  There is no rhyme or reason when they will do this.  It's easy to find out if there is an autobuild though, you just go to the general store and click on crops.  Hover over the newest limited time crop and check out the recipes.  USUALLY the recipe with the different color background SHOULD give you the autobuild but it doesn't always work that way.  You simply click on each one, if there is an autobuild then it will do it for you, if not well then you simply use your family to get all items you need.  If you're not that far yet, then you have to post or ask to get all you need.  There are plenty of groups on facebook to join to get help with these builds/quests.

If you have a problem playing the game on facebook, you can always go to zynga.com and play there.  (Be sure to link it to your facebook game so that EVERYTHING you do will be done there or you have two separate games.)   As you can see in the picture below, you can share your game posts with others playing and get help that way as well.

A few little tricks.....

A few tricks that I've learned from other great players:

1.  When you're done playing for the day, be sure to plant stuff that will be ready to be harvested the next time you get on the game.

2.  Harvest your water tower before you sign off as well.  This gives you extra water to use when you sign in again the next day.

3.  NEVER fish when you NEED something, you'll never get all that you need without a ton of planting cranberries and fertilizing over and over and over.  The easiest thing to plant for bait is the cranberries as you only have to wait 10 minutes for them to be ready to harvest.

4.  The best horse for coin to purchase is the baby black arabian horse.  It gives 2 horseshoes, 4 bags of fertilizer and 8 xp.  You need 6 baby bottles to bring them to adult size to get these gifts from them.  You ALWAYS need fertilizer, if you don't fertilize your water crops you do NOT get bait.  Also you need to fertilize other crops in order to get more of them AND you get other things for quests while fertilizing as well.

5. Be sure to use your farm hands to give you more fuel when you get your crop dryer and fuel pump.  Fuel fully replenishes every 18 hours.  You can add 4 fuel per farm hand (5 if you do the puppy quest)  See the video on helpful videos post on how to do this.
